The Big Easy

Read a Favorite Kisses post on New Voices last week. It reminded me of my favorite movies, so I slid in The Big Easy for a quick romp to New Orleans. Dennis Quaid and Ellen Barkin starred in this steamy romantic suspense movie. Ellen Barkin plays a goodie-goodie attorney, Ann Osborne, out to nab the bad guys. Well, enter Lt. Remy McSwain, Quaid, the bad good-guy out to smooth talk himself into some info, but finds himself falling hard in love with the 'enemy.' All this, plus murder, gang warfare, and spicy gumbo.

Since I'll have to look into a good recipe for gumbo, I'll toss out a simple pizza.
"You have to eat the pie to get to the report." McSwain
"Go on, Girlie. Get in the car." Blocked in driver waiting for Remy to move his car.

Chicken Pesto Pizza

Ingredients:
1/2 lb  chicken breast, chopped
ready-made pizza dough, follow directions on wrapping for time and temperature
pesto sauce
can of black olives
1 each green and red bell peppers
half basket of mushrooms, finely sliced for better baking. too thick & it won't lose its moisture in the oven.
jar of artichokes, sliced
1/2 lb cheese. your choice like mozzarella, cheddar, or monterey
If you like spice, then cayenne pepper

Directions:
1. season chicken w/salt and pepper and/or any seasoning you prefer like cayenne pepper. fry, bake or boil to just done
2. preheat oven according to wrapping
3. if veggies not sliced and diced yet, do it now
4. spread good amount of pesto sauce on dough
5. spread out the veggies, cheese and chicken on dough. don't overdo it or middle will not cook through
6. you can spread a little corn meal on baking pan or spray with oil
7. carefully slide your 'pie' into the oven for specified time.
8. check the middle for doneness. Once done have at it.

You may decide to put on the Bellamy Brothers, write a sexy note for your cher, and relax or dance to a lively tune. And if you think the night may not go as planned, just remember two things: "This is New Orleans, It's the Big Easy," and "Your luck is about to change." Cue hotness and a wakeup call by a squeeky green stuffed animal. "Watch out for the gator..." omg, I can go on with the lines.

Remember Alphas bite, but so do we.

The Awakening by Christine Feehan

In her first novel of the Jaguar Series, The Awakening, Christine Feehan demonstrates how the tropical mango can tantalize the tastebuds as well as eroticize love scenes. This orangy, yellow fruit is sweet, soft, and juicy when ripe.

Mango Smoothie

s tockvault.net
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

What other romances used mangos?
